What to Expect
Communal Worship
Through a collection of hymns and contemporary worship songs, we participate communally to glorify God. We believe our worship must reflect, as one body (of all ages), rejoicing and lamenting as laid out in Scripture (1 Cor. 12:25-26, Psalm 102). In addition, each Sunday, we come to the table together. All believers, regardless of church membership, are invited to partake of the Lord’s Supper.
Expository Preaching
If we can commit to knowing one thing in this life, it should be the Scriptures! At Olivet Bible Church, we take into consideration biblical culture and customs, original languages, and the history of the church to “rightly divide the Word of Truth” in our preaching (2 Timothy 2:15). The entirety of the Bible is the foundation for the development of our Christian faith and life of holiness. If we believe what Christ says in Matthew 4, that “man does not live on bread alone, but on every word that comes from the mouth of God”, then our joyful responsibility is to know and delight in the Word of God!
Olivet Kids
During our fellowship time, Olivet Kids (3-10) break off to meet together for the mutual encouragement of their faith (Romans 1:12). Children cannot possibly learn to be like Jesus without understanding the character of God, and that’s exactly what we reinforce every Sunday as partners with Olivet Parents!
Gospel Community
